*The work location can be Jacksonville, FL, Irvine, or Pittsburgh.

Duties

  • Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills, ability to effectively communicate with senior management, staff, and peers; engage appropriate resources to develop solutions and resolve issues. 
  • Experienced in cross-functional team leadership and training, internal customer collaboration, project scheduling and management. 
  • Successful track record in linking technology with multi-site business organizations and contact centers to build performance-driven, quality-focused, customer-centric and financially robust operations.

Requirements

Manage system administration and coordination of technical changes to the software components of the telecom infrastructure including all related software revisions. Partner with our Cisco and our Telecom vendors to engineer and deploy Cisco Telephony Servers and telecom equipment.  

Experience

  • Experience in implementing best practices security within IP telephony architectures including client deployments. Analysis of network configurations to properly configure and deploy a VOIP infrastructure.
     
  • Responsible for monitoring and reporting any issues and/or providing recommendations for additional network support/infrastructure as needed to support IP Telephony throughout the organization. 

Additional Information

Position requires 8 years of experience in the Telecom or Network relate fields, with a focus on VoIP standards.  Knowledge in extensive voice/data switching systems, including features, functions and interaction with telecom servers.  Knowledge of converged infrastructure, VoIP, voice and data software. Familiarity with different hardware platforms, networking principles, protocols and procedures. Working knowledge of telecom hardware to include Avaya/Cisco systems and networking principles desired.

 

A Bachelor’s Degree in Information Systems, Computer Engineering or a related academic area is preferred and/or a minimum of 8 years’ experience as a senior telephony engineer or in a related position.  Additional years of related experience in the field may be substituted for the formal education.
