Overview

Fidelity National Financial, Inc. (NYSE: FNF) is seeking a SAFE (continuous monitoring program) Auditor to join its JAX, FL office.  This position primarily performs internal audit work around questionable closing transactions that are detected using our automated audit platform (SAFE) to limit the Company’s exposure to fraud and claims.

Duties

• Possesses strong knowledge of closing processes and statutory compliance as determined by each state.

• Assist in developing electronic test parameters to promote an effective audit and appropriate coverage of risk.

• Participate in developing internal audit deliverables, and assure work is completed within agreed upon time frames.

• Understand, apply and determine proper RESPA procedures for closing/settlement statements and escrow funds.

• Create work products such as documentation of exceptions identified and the resolution, the Exception Report for executive management, draft analysis of quarterly exceptions for the Audit Committee and Board review, etc.

• Able to effectively correspond and work with others, including the Direct Audit Groups, FNF title and escrow officers, compliance officers, escrow administration, etc.

• Ability to work independently and assess priorities for projects assigned by supervisor while being able to multi-task on projects, files and documentation.

• Creative, strategic thinker who can add value to the program with additional testing, creation of tests or reports, and working with other departments to share knowledge for constant improvement and upgrading the system.

• Demonstrates teamwork by responsively cooperating with the other engagement team members, sharing information and ideas, accepting constructive feedback, and accepting additional assignments, when appropriate.

Experience

• Closing office or title/escrow experience.

• Five year minimum related, applicable experience.

• Competency with computing systems or ability to learn many operating systems and proprietary computer programs, including a working knowledge of MS Office Suite.
