Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Escrow Officer to join our team on a full-time basis. The Escrow Officer will be responsible for managing escrow transactions from beginning to end, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and customer satisfaction throughout the process. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in escrow services, exceptional organizational skills, and a commitment to delivering high-quality service to clients.

Duties

1. Manage all aspects of escrow transactions, including opening, processing, closing, and funding.
2. Review purchase agreements, title commitments, and other relevant documents to ensure accuracy and completeness.
3. Communicate effectively with clients, real estate agents, lenders, and other parties involved in the transaction to provide updates and address any issues or concerns.
4. Coordinate with title examiners, underwriters, and other internal departments to resolve title issues and facilitate the closing process.
5. Prepare escrow instructions, settlement statements, and closing documents in accordance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
6. Conduct escrow signings with clients and ensure all necessary documents are executed accurately and timely.
7. Disburse funds and ensure proper accounting of all escrow transactions in compliance with company procedures and industry regulations.
8. Maintain confidentiality and security of sensitive client information throughout the escrow process.
9. Stay informed about changes in industry regulations, policies, and procedures, and participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities.
10. Provide exceptional customer service and build positive relationships with clients and colleagues to foster repeat business and referrals.

Education

High School diploma or equivalent.

Experience

Minimum of 3 years of experience working as an Escrow Officer in the real estate industry.

Additional Information

REQUIREMENTS:

 

1. Strong knowledge of escrow principles, practices, and procedures.
2. Proficiency in escrow software and Microsoft Office suite.
3. Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
4. Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple transactions simultaneously.
5. Knowledge of title insurance and real estate closing procedures preferred.
6. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
7. Possess or ability to obtain relevant state escrow licensing or certification.
