POSITION OVERVIEW
Oversees the completion of complex, technical projects while meeting time, scope, and budgetary requirements. This is accomplished by managing project resources, ensuring the completion of project tasks and monitoring adherence to project management process standards. Must be able to work closely with internal as well as external customer teams on project delivery. Ensures that project status, risks, issues and successes are communicated to project team, stakeholders, and all levels of management, and documented appropriately.

LOCATION
- Jacksonville, FL or can sit 100% remote
- Must be able to work East Coast hours
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Defines project scope, identifies project resource needs, creates project initiation documents, authors a project management plan, and possess a forward look into overall project delivery
- Responsible for managing both inflight projects and launching new efforts
- Applies knowledge of best practices for project administration to include resource allocation, task planning and progress reporting.
- Effectively manages risk by tracking and following up on all items which could prevent/delay project completion
- Assesses technical project specifications, understands and explains technical requirements, makes resource recommendations, and engages in technical discussions regarding requirements and features
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor's degree in business, information technology, or related field
- Requires 5+ years of project management experience which includes estimating, staffing, managing, controlling, administering, budgeting and executing technical project efforts for the full lifecycle
- Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment
- Experience managing concurrent projects of varying sizes and complexities
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE
- Experience with IT Operational projects such as network, telecom, cloud, storage/compute, security, application migrations, etc.
- Experience working in Project Online, Project Server/MS Project, Azure DevOps and SharePoint
- PMP certification and/or Agile/Scrum certification(s)
- Experience creating clear, accurate project and portfolio reports/dashboards
- Strong experience scheduling, preparing presentations and status reports
- Ability to motivate and lead virtual teams of remote resources
- Ability to communicate clearly and concisely with diverse audiences, in both oral and written contexts
