Overview

Fidelity National Financial, Inc. (NYSE: FNF) is seeking a Product Manager for its Property Insight division as either a part in office (Maitland, FL or Irvine, CA), part remote employee (or full remote). The primary responsibility of the position is to develop requirements into stories and prioritize the Team Backlog to streamline the execution of product/project priorities. You will play a significant role in quality and are the only team member empowered to accept stories as done. The role has significant relationships and responsibilities outside the scrum team, including working with Management on product roadmaps and coordinating with development to maintain the technical integrity of the team’s areas of ownership.

Duties

• Maintain vision and clarity for your product area(s) as it relates to the overall product vision and mission.
• Ensure the right features for the products and/or integrations are developed based off your understanding of the customer’s needs/wants.
• Tracks and addresses product performance.
• Coordinates with respective teams regarding product launch or releases.
• Build a deep understanding of all your products and/or integrations and how they interact with the overall solution.
• Be able to demo any feature of your product to key stakeholders and or customers if needed.
• Review and approve all software changes made by development teams.
• Review or create product and/or integration design to ensure consistency for new features,
• Involve yourself in all phases of the product development lifecycle
• Research and understand the needs of your target customer base.
• Understand the basics of the title and escrow process.
• Analyze market and competition to create products or features to innovate and exceed customer expectations.
• Organize calls, site visits and other interactions with your customers to identify needs and problems as well as to validate feature requirements and initial designs.
• Be the voice of the customer to the development teams.
• Identify, maintain, improve, and prioritize product backlog items.
• Recommend when a feature or set of features is ready for implementation, with a bias towards frequent delivery.
• Collaborates with internal teams to work on product requirements i.e. BAs, Dev, etc.
• Hold backlog refinement sessions with the team (as necessary).
• Understand and use core agile concepts for authoring good stories and for splitting large stories.
• Facilitate user story mapping exercises with your team when starting new features or quarterly planning.
• Build and keep a backlog depth of stories that follow the organizational timelines with a minimum of two sprints of work ahead of planning timelines.
• Coordinate with key stakeholders to maintain a long-term product area plan.
• Forecast feature release dates and socialize those with key stakeholders.
• Work with customer-facing teams to understand the impact of defects and prioritize to ensure product quality and customer satisfaction.
• Work with product manager, development team, and architecture to identify and prioritize ongoing maintenance work to minimize future issues and take advantage of technical advancements.

Education

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Higher Education a plus (Associate’s/Bachelor’s Degree)

Experience

• Ideal candidate will have 3 to 5+ years of title industry experience and 3 to 5+ years of experience as a Product Manager and/or Business Analyst.
• Excellent project management skills to balance the demands and needs of several different product integrations.
• Ability to multi-task, meet deadlines, work in a demanding environment.
• Must be able to quickly learn, gather, and demonstrate a thorough understanding of customer requirements for new product integrations.
• Must be an analytical person, detail-oriented, highly organized, and results-driven.
• Experience with writing acceptance criteria (both high-level description and BDD behavior).
• Proficiency with Agile methodologies and participation in daily scrum and sprint planning meetings.
• Proficient with sprint management tools such as DevOps.
• Excellent communication (verbal and written).
• Receptive to feedback with a keen sense of awareness and responsibility to performing duties. Continuously seeks opportunities to improve.

• Attend all team-related events and ceremonies including but not limited to stand-up, backlog refinements, mid-sprint reviews, planning, sprint reviews, roadmap forecasts and other potential meetings.
