As an Escrow Assistant, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the Escrow Officer to ensure smooth and efficient transactions.
Duties
Administrative Support: Assist EscrowOfficer in preparing and organizing escrow files, receipt contracts/earnest money, open orders, order home warranties, order HOA documents, etc
Clearing of Title: Ability to read a title commitment, assist with any curative required to clear Schedule C including ordering payoffs, callings applicable parties, ordering and coordinating releases
Preparing CD/HUD: Ability to prepare preliminary CD/HUD and balance with lender
Schedule Management: Coordinate scheduling of closings and/or mobile notaries
Closing/Funding: Prepare title closing documents, send for funding, assist with balancing files and disbursement of funds including preparing outgoing wires and checks, record applicable documents, ability to package lender packages and other post-closing responsibilities
Customer Service: Be a primary point of contact for clients and real estate agents via email and phone, handling a significant portion of communications with professionalism and courtesy
Education
Mandatory: High School Graduate
College Graduate preferred
Experience
Minimum 1 year experience as an Escrow Assistant
SoftPro and SmartView experience

Can stay calm under pressure and while multi-tasking, and working at a fast pace required on a high-volume team
Ability to work independently and be self-motivated, following processes with minimal supervision; we’re looking for those rock stars that pride themselves in being able to get things done right and on time
Confident computer user (work includes use of Outlook, SoftPro, Excel, and Web/social media)
