Maintains current knowledge of Policies and Procedures as they relate to documents and funding.
Disburse all proceeds on closing files and keep accurate records of all invoices/demands for escrow files.
Work within bank portals and initiate or confirm outgoing wires.
Accurate and timely review of all loan documents.
Accurate and timely reconciliation of all fees and figures relating to each loan.
Review payoff demands, calculate per diem and other charges.
Researches and resolves problems or complaints from internal and external customers.
Prepares a complete list of all outstanding items remaining after review or corrections that must be made and promptly forwards to broker and closing agent or Title Company.
Follows loan checklist order as conditions are signed off and new information is received.
Performs accurate input of all required funding fields prior to input in order to generate correct wire amount.
Prepares the funding package and coordinates the timing of the loan funding request.
Verifies that conditions have been approved by the appropriate party.
Maintains familiarity with residential mortgage documents.
Works directly with processing, underwriting, loan officers, settlement agents, title, Loan center & Loan support areas.
Review CD & HUD to ensure compliance.

Education
Mandatory: High School Graduate
College Graduate preferred
Experience
Minimum 1 year experience as an Escrow Assistant
SoftPro and SmartView experience
Experience managing fiduciary funds in a title and settlement business or accounting experience.

Ability to work independently and be self-motivated, following processes with minimal supervision; we’re looking for those rock stars that pride themselves in being able to get things done right and on time
Confident computer user (work includes use of Outlook, SoftPro, Excel, and Web/social media)
