POSITION OVERVIEW
The LandCastle Title Group is looking for an Escrow Closer to join our growing team. LandCastle Title Group operates under several brands around the state of Florida and is backed by a multi-billion-dollar Fortune 500 Company, Fidelity National Financial. The Escrow Closer will oversee the real estate closing and escrow process, including compliance with real estate contracts, lender instructions, title requirements, closing/escrow requirements, company requirements and other written instructions.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Conducts residential and commercial closings with buyers, sellers, realtors, lenders, and attorneys.
- Works closely with internal teams, as well as external partners including, lenders, real estate agents, surveyors, customers, and vendors to close transactions in a timely, efficient, and accurate manner.
- Prepares the Closing Disclosure and the ALTA or Master Settlement Statement and all other closing documents necessary for the transaction.
- Resolves title issues such as legal descriptions, easements, lot splits, vesting, all tax liens, abstracts of judgments, bankruptcies, boundary disputes, encroachments, etc.
- Secures all documents (corrective and others) that may be required for a successful settlement and the issuance of title insurance policies.
- Oversees the disbursement of the file, including, issuance of checks, bills and statements, receipts, and any other documents needed to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Issues final title policies and applicable endorsements.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- Requires 2+ years of experience in title insurance.
- Processing and escrow closing expertise.
- Must be a licensed public notary.
- Proven experience with residential and commercial closing transactions.
- Superior communication skills, including presentation skills.
- Able to maintain confidentiality and exercise fiduciary responsibility.
- Able to prioritize and handle multiple tasks and projects concurrently under deadline pressure.
- Strong book of business (with at least $30,000 in monthly revenue).
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE
- Title Agent license
- Experience with SoftPro Title & Real Estate Closing Software
