As an Escrow Assistant in the Sonora branch, you will play a vital role in the operations of this branch. Your responsibilities will span various aspects of escrow, from answering the phone, client communication, banking, admin, and file processing. This is a full time role - hours of operation are 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday.
• Answer phones.
• Greet Customers.
• Set-up orders (Data Entry).
• Clear Title (Review title reports and order payoffs).
• Print loan packages.
• Supply lenders/realtors/buyers/sellers with requested information to conduct closings.
• Return Loan Packages (after buyer/borrower has signed package documents and return to lender).
• Upload documents into SmartView (paperless file)
• Upload documents into Simplifile (E-Recording process).
• Coordinate disbursement with lenders.
• Disburse file (distributing funds to parties involved in transaction and communicating with parties involved that file has closed).
• Daily banking deposit and reports.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Minimum of 2-year experience as an Escrow Assistant. Great customer service skills, problem solver, works well with others in an office environment and excited to learn and grow with our company.
This position is eligible to earn compensation in the range of $18 - $20/hourly based on location and job-related factors such as skillset and experience.
