Overview

As an escrow assistant, you'll be performing a variety of tasks that keep things moving. You'll need to be organized, analytical, and a great problem-solver. You must truly love people and have excellent communication skills.


Expect to gather client and financial information, handle funds, enter data into a computer, and respond to information requests.

Duties

  • Answer Phones
  • Greet Customers
  • Communicate through email, voice, and text
  • Assist the Escrow Officer in processing the escrow files including ordering and preparing documents, creating packages, setting client appointments, recording write ups, balancing files, and communicating with all parties throughout the transaction.

Education

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Associates or Bachelors Degree preferred but not required.

Experience

  • The strongest candidates will have escrow experience.
  • Experience in real estate or lending will also be considered.
  • Working in a fast paced, deadline focused position a benefit.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Strong office administrative skills and the ability to work efficiently under deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • A solid understanding of escrow practices and real estate principles.
  • Proficiency with technology and standard software applications like Microsoft Office.

Additional Information

  • Must feel very comfortable with technology.
  • Must enjoy working with others in a team environment.
  • Additional languages spoken a plus.

This position is eligible to earn compensation in the range of $20-$22/hourly based on location and job-related factors such as skillset and experience. The base compensation is one component of the total rewards package offered to our employees, including optional health and welfare insurance (medical/dental/vision/life/disability); paid holidays, vacation, and sick time off; and matching 401(k) plan and matching employee stock purchase plan.
