Chicago Title Insurance Company is hiring a South Carolina attorney to join our team as title insurance underwriter. We are seeking a candidate with a real estate background and an aptitude for marketing, business development and information technology. Duties

Provide underwriting guidance and risk assessment for residential and commercial transactions across the region. Develop and maintain strong relationships with title agents, real estate attorneys and other key stakeholders. Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to implement strategies that attract new business and grow market share. Conduct training and educational opportunities to position our company as a go-to resource for title professionals. Monitor industry trends and regulatory changes to ensure compliance and offer proactive solutions. Apply IT knowledge to streamline workflows, enhance compliance, and explore digital tools that improve agent experience and elevate the scope of tech-savvy benefits available to our agents and business partners. Assist with escrows, claims, monitoring legislation, drafting memoranda and blog articles and undertake new projects and initiatives to meet emerging needs.

Education

Juris Doctorate Degree, South Carolina Licensure

Experience

3+ years of experience in real estate law. Prior working knowledge or eagerness to learn about title insurance policies, endorsements, and state-specific regulations. A background in business development, sales, or marketing with a proven record of supporting growth initiatives. Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex concepts in an engaging way. A proactive, solutions-oriented mindset with a passion for helping agents and partners grow their business.
