Responsible for achieving branch strategic and financial objectives by establishing and overseeing efficient closing/settlement processes, developing internal and external customer relationships, preparing, and maintaining branch budgets and managing and developing branch staff.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
• Manage and supervise a team of escrow officers, providing guidance and support as needed.
• Oversee the daily operations of the escrow department, including opening, closing, and processing escrow transactions.
• Review branch P&L’s, daily orders and expenses.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and company policies.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, real estate agents and other industry professionals.
• Train and mentor new team members to ensure high-quality customer service.
• Handle escalated customer inquiries and complaints in a timely and professional manner.
• Collaborate with other departments to streamline processes and improve efficiency.
• Monitor and approve time worked for escrow staff, including managing overtime as needed. Enter timecard adjustments and approve bi-weekly timecards, while complying with payroll deadlines; procedures and regulations.
• Ensure office is staffed appropriately for business needs when approving vacation requests. In addition, shifting duties/workloads of staff for unscheduled absences as needed.
• Calculate monthly commissions for escrow staff and submit for payment according to scheduled dates.
• Interviews prospective employees.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Preferred (but not required)
• Notary Public (State of Colorado)
• Title Insurance Producer License (or willingness to obtain within 90 days)
• The Escrow Branch Manager is required to have the abilities to perform all types of Real Estate transactions regardless of the degree of difficulty.
• Strong knowledge of escrow laws, regulations, and procedures.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proven leadership abilities with a track record of team management and development.
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• At least 5 years of experience in escrow operations, including 2 years in a managerial role.
• Proficiency in escrow software and Microsoft Office Suite
• High School diploma or GED equivalent is required.
• Hold current or obtain CO Resident Producers title license
• Hold current or obtain CO Notary Certification

COMPENSATION and BENEFITS:
Pay based on experience, starting at $72,000 per year plus commission. The base compensation is one component of the total rewards package offered to our employees, including optional health and welfare insurance (medical/dental/vision/life/disability); paid holidays, vacation, and sick time off; and matching 401(k) plan and matching employee stock purchase plan.
