Overview

Fidelity National Financial is currently seeking to hire an experienced QA Analyst to fill available Senior Software QA Analyst position. The primary function of this role is to assist on improving overall quality assurance outcomes through planning, control and execution of manual testing to support the different FNHW applications and systems that are currently in use and in development. This position is based in Henderson, Nevada however fully remote.

Duties

• Execute manual test scripts with reliable and comprehensive test results
• Identify bugs and potential problems within the software
• Create clear and concise defect tickets with reproducible steps using the ticketing system
• Create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test cases for our various applications and products which include, but are not limited to; Website, Android/iOS platform, Legacy applications, and In-house applications
• Update and maintain test cases to keep the test suite current
• Reproduce bugs for team members as needed, develop meaningful insights into the project, and share your testing expertise
• Conduct API testing
• Create documentation to contribute to our existing Knowledge Base
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Education

• Associate or bachelor’s degree preferred, or equivalent experience
• Or 3+ years of related quality assurance, technical experience

Experience

• 3+ years of Software QA experience
• Experience across a wide range of platforms, including PC, console, and mobile testing
• Experience with a variety of development tools and a willingness to learn new tools
• Experience working with stakeholders and Business Analysts to refine business requirements
• Proficient with MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)

 

REQUIREMENTS

 

• Strong understanding of Software Development lifecycles
• Strong understanding of Software Testing lifecycles
• Ability to create Test Plan based on Business Requirements
• Strong understanding of API Testing
• Ability to organize daily tasks and work independently
• Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and communication skills
• Ability to meet deadlines and handle multiple complex projects

Additional Information

• Understanding of and hands-on experience with testing tools, in particular Jira, Zephyr, and Swagger

 

This position is eligible to earn compensation in the range of $65,000 - $80,000/annually based on location and job-related factors such as skillset and experience. The base compensation is one component of the total rewards package offered to our employees, including optional health and welfare insurance (medical/dental/vision/life/disability); paid holidays, vacation, and sick time off; and matching 401(k) plan and matching employee stock purchase plan.
