We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Escrow Assistant to join our team. This position plays a critical role in supporting escrow officers and ensuring smooth, accurate, and timely real estate closings. The ideal candidate will be customer-service driven, able to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment and committed to accuracy and compliance.
• Assist escrow officers in preparing, reviewing, and processing escrow documents.
• Open, set up, and maintain escrow files with accuracy.
• Communicate with buyers, sellers, lenders, real estate agents, and other parties to collect required information and documents.
• Prepare settlement statements and balance files.
• Ensure compliance with state regulations, company policies, and industry standards.
• Handle funds disbursement and maintain accurate records.
• Provide excellent customer service and act as a professional point of contact throughout the closing process.
• Perform other related administrative and clerical duties as assigned.
• High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in business, real estate, or related field preferred.
• Previous escrow, title, or real estate experience strongly preferred but not required for the right candidate.
