Overview

POSITION OVERVIEW

Fidelity National Financial (FNF), is seeking a Senior Corporate Auditor to join our dynamic Internal Audit team at our Jacksonville, FL headquarters. This role is ideal for an experienced audit professional, preferably with a background in public accounting (Big 4 or regional firm) who brings strong analytical skills, sound judgment, and a passion for identifying risk and driving value. The Senior Auditor will be responsible for executing audits aligned with the internal audit plan and risk management strategy. The ideal candidate will bring critical thinking, attention to detail, and strong communication skills to help elevate audit quality and business impact.

 

LOCATION

  • This role sits at our HQ in Jacksonville, FL (Hybrid: Wednesday & Thursday Onsite)
  • Ability and willingness to travel up to 10%.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assist in developing audit programs necessary to promote an effective audit and appropriate coverage of risk.
  • Lead process walkthroughs for the identification of risks, controls and gaps using cognitive flexibility.
  • Execute complex/higher risk procedures on operational, financial and compliance audits, including Sarbanes-Oxley compliance testing, and special projects.
  • Create work products such as audit analysis, correspondence, memoranda, process workflows, narratives, risk and control matrices and other working papers that document the engagement procedures performed and the results of those procedures.
  • Draft audit reports to include specific findings as well as recommendations to management.
  • Participate in departmental initiatives and projects under the direction of the internal audit management team to maintain a high-level internal audit function.
  • Work with the internal audit team to develop creative, practical, and cost-effective recommendations for process improvements or efficiency enhancements.
  • Participate in developing internal audit deliverables, and ensures work is completed within agreed upon time frames. 

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field from an accredited institution
  • Minimum of 3+ years of audit experience, preferably with a public accounting firm (Big 4 experience strongly preferred)
  • CPA or CIA designation (or currently pursuing certification)
  • Proficiency with Microsoft 365 tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams)
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and written communication skills

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE

  • Familiarity with internal audit methodologies and risk-based audit approaches
  • Experience working with or auditing within large, multi-entity organizations
  • Ability to effectively assess control environments and present findings to stakeholders
  • Collaborative mindset with the ability to work cross-functionally across departments
