POSITION OVERVIEW
Fidelity National Financial (FNF) is seeking an experienced Data Protection Analyst to monitor, analyze, and support the implementation of enterprise-level data protection practices. This role focuses on assessing risks, ensuring compliance, and delivering actionable insights to strengthen data security across the organization.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Monitor and analyze file-level and storage-level data protection policies and alerts.
- Generate audit-ready compliance reports and support risk mitigation efforts.
- Assist in implementing data protection policies across enterprise systems.
- Collaborate with teams to ensure alignment with approved policies and procedures.
- Demonstrate proactive learning and application of data protection best practices.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree or the equivalent combination of education, training, and work experience.
- 3+ years with hands-on experience in data discovery, and protection frameworks.
- Hands-on experience with data discovery and protection tools.
- Strong understanding and working knowledge of data protection frameworks, regulatory compliance requirements, and their practical application.
- Experience working across organizations of varying sizes and complexities.
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE
- 5+ years experienced analyst in data discovery and protection for both structured and unstructured data.
- Hands-on experience in data discovery, protection frameworks and incident response.
- Solid understanding of data protection principles and compliance requirements.
- Experience monitoring and analyzing file-level and storage-level protection policies and alerts.
- Skilled in generating audit-ready compliance reports and risk assessments.
- Familiarity with Varonis and Microsoft Purview for data protection and activity monitoring.
- Experience supporting both cloud and on-premises environments.
- Adaptable to different organizational sizes and workflows.
- Demonstrated systems thinking ability to understand interdependencies across data, processes, and technologies to provide holistic risk insights.
This position has the potential to earn compensation in the range of $75,000 - $100,000 annually based on location and job-related factors such as skillset and experience. Actual rate may vary within the range provided, depending on a number of factors, including skillset, experience and location. The base compensation is one component of the total rewards package offered to our employees, including optional health and welfare insurance (medical/dental/vision/life/disability); paid holidays, vacation, and sick time off; and matching 401(k) plan and matching employee stock purchase plan.
