POSITION OVERVIEW
The Senior Endpoint Engineer is responsible for the assessment, review, and maintenance of system security configurations. This will include making recommendations on system hardening, testing changes in the environment to understand impact, and the ability to provide a risk based analysis of any concerns. Candidates will possess an innate desire to understand how things work and use that information to provide the best protection for our employees and assets.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Sets policies and rulesets around assigned endpoint protection technology
- Makes recommendations to management regarding potential benefit and methods for implementation
- Reviews release notes and vendor documentation of assigned endpoint protection technology to stay knowledgeable of the following related to the technology: new features/capabilities, enhancements/changes to proper management and reporting/monitoring improvements
- Escalation point for Endpoint Security Engineers for incidents/requests related to endpoint protection technologies
- Determines secure endpoint configuration settings to implement and performs initial testing against lab systems
- Subject matter expert for assigned endpoint protection technology
- Review effectiveness of security configurations against expected outcomes and adjusts as necessary to improve effectiveness
- Designs implementation plans for new endpoint protection features/products
- Determines all actions necessary for successful implementation of new features/products
- Creates list of tasks with target execution dates and completes necessary change management requests/tasks
- Monitors performance impact for new features/products
- Communicates changes to Enterprise IT/User populations for changes that have potential to impact operations
- Participates in SWAT investigations to remediate any issues pertaining to endpoint security technologies
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor of Science in a computer related field or the equivalent combination of education, work and experience
- Requires 10+ years of experience in IT Engineering
- Requires 5+ years of experience in Endpoint Security Engineering
- Requires 2+ years of engineering on next-generation endpoint protection products (CrowdStrike, Defender, Palo Alto, etc.)
- Thorough understanding of TCP/IP protocols
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE
- Financial services or FinTech industry experience
- CISSP or other cyber security certification
This remote position is eligible to earn a base salary in the range of $110,00 - $150,000 based on location and job-related factors such as skillset and experience.

The Senior IT Auditor works as part of a team of IT Auditors to assess risk, evaluate controls and provide advisory services to FNF and its subsidiaries. This position will support the risk based IT Audit plan, leading and completing planning, fieldwork, and reporting activities. This position includes internal and external client interface, and as such requires strong professional presence, communication, and decision-making skills. The successful candidate will be capable of identifying and addressing audit issues across a variety of business areas and risk exposures, including technology, information security and operational systems of controls. The ability to establish relationships and credibility with clients as well as within the Audit team is necessary. A broad understanding of Information Technology, security, and controls as well as experience in the financial services industry is necessary.
